i-DIRECT
i-Direct, a technology based marketing and research organisation, was approved as an IFSC Company by the IFSC Certification Committee in October 2004. i-Direct will use call centre and Internet services to provide information to financial services companies mainly in the United Kingdom. Although the company will not directly employ large numbers of Batswana, it will stimulate the growth of a local call centre industry which should lead to a projected 619 jobs created over the next five years. Furthermore, i-Direct will showcase Botswana as a credible provider of offshore call centre operations.
